Hello everyone! How are you? I hope you’re feeling well, staying safe, and holding up.
streaming schedule this week (it’s a little different)
This week, live-streamed classes on YouTube are happening in the mornings:
Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, and Saturday at 9am ET.
New: Foundational Flows
Available on YouTube today is a new Foundational Flow: Downward Facing Dog. If you’re new to yoga and want to start moving and learning at the same time, this short class will help you build up the basic alignment of Downward Facing Dog. It’s short and sweet, and more Foundational Flows are coming soon to help you build a practice at home.
Is there something you’re curious about (what’s triangle? why do we do sun salutations? why do my hands slip so much in downward facing dog?!) or a body part in need of some extra love (hips! shoulders! LOW BACK!)? Let me know, and I’ll tailor some of these videos to your needs. You can reply to this email!
YouTube content is always free, but donations can be made via Venmo @laurenfrankfurt.
virtual private yoga instruction
If you want to go more in-depth on a 1:1 basis, let’s do a virtual private session!
We’ll video chat and I’ll talk you through a sequence for your needs specifically. You can ask questions, and I’ll be able to see you and help you directly. You can read about how in-person private sessions work on my website, but note that these will be a little different, since we can’t be in a room together. The intention of the session stays the same, though. :)
They also cost less: pay what you can on a sliding scale ($30–$80) for 1 hour of 1:1 time. If that price range remains inaccessible, but you’re interested in more individualized yoga instruction, please let me know; I want to support you.
other ways to support
It helps me if you subscribe to my YouTube channel and follow me on Instagram.
If you like the classes but can’t afford to make a donation, subscribing and following is a meaningful way of supporting me! I know, it seems too easy, but it’s true.
Sharing these emails with your interested friends also helps!
Thanks for being here. I can’t wait to see you in person soon.
